Hello;

 

We are a company based in USA and are looking for a partner to help us expand our distribution operations in Europe.

 

We need a company or an agency to help us(consult)  make decisions on setting up a 3PL within the EU with value add operation. Electronic products  for transportation and automotive industry. We are on the early stages but need to get an analysis in place soon. We would like to bring in someone to help us undertake reasonable steps to satisfy the legal requirement, import, export within EU, etc.  for example find solutions on the following.

 

Where should the distribution or 3PL be located in the EU?

Countries with favorable labor and Export compliance regulations-

Logistics inbound from Asia and USA

What port(s) of entry and transportation mode(s) should be leveraged?

Evaluate liabilities- Tax and duties implication based on locations throughout EU

Etc.

Welcome to the Dutch leading entrepreneurs Q&A forum. I take it you aren't expecting the forum members to answer your questions (which is the purpose of this forum), since what you are looking either consists in a superhuman (millipede) manager or you would need a team.

 

The downside of the EU is the overload of different regulations for each country. Choosing the best country to set up shop in, usually means you get in touch with the big four (EY, PWC, etc.) first.
