Legalities regarding hiring a freelancer for a sole proprietorship

I have a "eenmanszaak" business and am planning to hire freelancers time to time from online platforms such as upwork. Are there any legalities that I should be aware of regarding this? As far as I understand, the freelancer from this platform won't be an employee so they themselves need to arrange their own legal obligations.

I'm not looking for a long-term hiring, it's possible the work be done within a few months.

You are correct. A freelancer is either, like you, working as an 'Eenmanszaak' or being payrolled by this agency which is also the employer.
